Study Award Presentation Ceremony is organized by KKCCCI Education Sub-committee each year on November (same day with KKCCCI’s AGM). These awards are for qualified members’ children and the pupils who excelled in their studies in KKCCCI’s controlled schools.
The notice of Application for Study Award will issued by KKCCCI secretariat on late of September or early October through local newspapers & email (if members had provided valid email). The content of the notice will included: Terms & Conditions, requirements and expiration date. All qualified members’ children whose scholastic achievements could meet the terms and requirements are encouraged to apply for the awards.
The following are the terms and requirements for KKCCCI STUDY AWARDS* for your reference :
* All the applications are required to meet the minimum standards for the particular year
* Terms and requirements subject to change base on final decision made by the Assessment Panel of the particular year
KINDERGARTEN
(1) The Assessment Report on the progress of excellence.
PRIMARY SCHOOL PUPILS
(1) TP (Tahap Penguasaan) under School Based Assessment (PBS) meet the standards made by the Assessment Panel
SECONDARY SCHOOL STUDENTS
(1) Internal School examination: who excelled in their studies in schools (Terms and requirements subject to the Assessment Panel of the particular year)
(2) SPM Examination: possess good results
(3) Unified Chinese Independent Schools Examination: possess good results (Senior Middle/Junior Middle)
STPM / A-LEVEL AND PRE-UNIVERSITY CLASSES
Principal subjects with two subjects in distinctions and better.
TEACHERS’ TRAINING COLLEGE AND COLLEGE STUDENTS
Excellent scholastic achievements, earn a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or better.
UNIVERSITY STUDENTS
Undergraduates and Graduates studying in local and overseas universities, earn a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or better.
PROCEDURE OF APPLICATION
Applicants can obtain application forms from the KKCCCI Secretariat, and the completed forms together with the following documents must be submitted to the Secretariat:
- Original and duplicate copies of school report cards / diplomas and certificates (after verification, the original will be returned to the applicant).
- Duplicate copies of birth certificate and identity card (1 of each).
- 1½” photo (1 only).
