THREE KKCCCI CEMETERIES AND ONE CHINESE ETERNAL RESTING ABODE: “Zhong Hua Wan Shou Ge” (COLUMBARIUM FOR ASHES FOR THE DEPARTED SOULS OF THE CHINESE COMMUNITY)

The three Chinese cemeteries under KKCCCI are situated at Mile 2½ Jalan Tuaran, Mile 5½ Jalan Tuaran and also the new Chinese Cemetery at Menggatal.  The two cemeteries along Jalan Tuaran Road have been there for almost one hundred years and already near full capacity, with only limited burial lots which are still available.  The new cemetery at Menggatal under the Joint Venture between KKCCCI and V-Hua Management Sdn Bhd.  Well designed and landscaped burial lots are now available for booking at the new cemetery.  “Tionghua Eternal Resting Abode” (columbarium) is situated on top of the hill at Mile 5½, Jalan Tuaran has empty slots for storage of the ashes of the beloved ones, available for booking for either single or double slots.

Purchasers please take note of the following:

  1. Applications for burial lots or columbarium slots are open to all irrespective of dialect groups or religious beliefs (with exception of Muslims).
  2. Those who wish to purchase burial lots or columbarium slots are advised to contact the persons in charge of the cemetery on the site.  Once the plots or slots are identified, then proceed to KKCCCI Secretariat for completion of the details in the forms, and settlement of payments.
  3. The purchaser of the burial lot must produce original identity card, and also the identity card of the intended user of the burial lot (both original and duplicate copies).
  4. If any family member of the deceased wishes to buy the burial lot belonging to the deceased, the intended purchaser must produce original identity card, the identity card of the deceased (duplicate copy) and also the death certificate issued by the hospital or the police department.
  5. Only registered contractors with KKCCCI are allowed to carry out construction works of the tombs or excavation of skeletal remains from the old tombs.
  6. Structure for tombs and memorial stones should not exceed 3 feet in height, and no erection of any shed is permitted.
