ICBC Dual Currency Credit Card is an UnionPay credit card consisting of a Renminbi account and a local currency account issued in regions outside mainland China.
Apart from the basic functions of overdraft, spending and transfer, the product also features dual currency accounts in the RMB and the local currency for the cardholders can spend money in the yuan on the Chinese Mainland and in the local currency, Ringgit (RM) at Malaysia and the rest of the world. As a result, the cardholders can easily make settlements in the yuan for the spending in mainland China without worrying the fees of exchange with other currencies.
There is a shared credit limit for the two accounts, which means the cardholders can spend within that shared limit, in either the yuan or RM.
