Non-Preferential Certificate of Origin (for exporter & KKCCCI’s member only)

A Non-Preferential Certificate of Origin (NPCO) is a trade document that helps to identify the origin of the good.  NPCOs would be issued upon request.  The essential documents to be produced to the Secretariat are Customs Declaration, Bill of Lading and Invoice in respect of the goods to be exported.

Apply to issue NPCO signed by KKCCCI:

  1. Product Cost Analysis Form
  2. Company registration certificate (Borang 9)
  3. Trading License
  4. Factory appearance photos (including signboard)
  5. Factory License (if any)
  6. Invoices of Raw Materials and Products
  7. Product’s Sample/ Photo/ Catalog
  8. Statutory Declaration

Apply NPCO:

  1. Fill out the NPCO Form and print it using cyan paper (Attachment)
  2. Exporter Invoice
  3. Packing List
  4. Bill of Lading/Air Waybill
  5. Customs Declaration Form (K2)

Issuance of NPCO for fish products

According to Ministry of International Trade and Industry Malaysia (MITI), effective from 1 January 2018, all issuance of NPCO for exportation of fish, crustaceans, molluscs and other aquatic invertebrates (products under Chapter 3 of the Harmonized Tariff Classification System) will be processed by the Department of Fisheries, Malaysia (DOF).  For Sabah is Department of Fisheries, Sabah.
