Green Technology Master Plan Malaysia (2017-2030)
The Green Technology Master Plan (GTMP) (2017-2030) which was launched in 2017 outlines the strategic plans for green technology development to create a low-carbon and resource efficient economy. The GTMP creates a framework which facilitates the mainstreaming of green technology into the planned developments of Malaysia while encompassing the four pillars set in the National Green Technology Policy (NGTP) i.e. energy, environment, economy and social.
Its key points are embedded in 6 sectors: energy, manufacturing, transportation, building, waste and water.
