On 24th June, Putatan Hwa Shiong Kindergarten launched a fund raising campaign for a septic tank. Assistant Minister, YB Datuk Edward Yong officiated the ceremony and President Michael Lui spoke during the ceremony. Attending the ceremony included Datuk Mary Ling, the Chairperson of the School Board of the kindergarten, VPs William Chia, Pang Nyuk Pin, Lim Young Peing, Chia Fook Soon, Frankie Jung, and Kuo Yin Jan.
