On 19th October, 2013, Mr. Tan Guan Hock, an ex-student of Che Hwa Primary School in Weston, Beaufort, made a generous donation of RM10, 000 towards the Che Hwa School’s Building Fund in Kolombong for the new school carrying the name of his old school. Datuk President Michael Lui cum Chairman of the Che Hwa School’s Board of Directors received the donation from Mr. Tan, who also appealed to his former school mates to respond to the appeal for further donations for the same purpose.
