On 22nd October, 2013, Datuk President Michael Lui together with Management Committee members met the Sin Chew Daily Sabah Regional Manager Huang Qi Xian together with the Group Senior Reporters Wang Li Ping, Chen Yu Si and Yao Shu Yan. At the meeting were VPs Datuk Chu Fui Khin, William Chia, Mej. (K) Chang Chin Shin JP., Pang Nyuk Pin, John Wong and Secretary General Yee That Hian.
Both parties held fruitful discussion with each other on the proposed establishment of a regional publication and distribution centre in Kota Kinabalu for of Sin Chew Daily.
