On 16th April, 2013, President Michael Lui cum Chairman of Che Hwa School’s Board of Management met the press at the site of the 1st phase of Kelombong Che Hwa School. The purpose of the meeting with the press was to brief them on the progress of the school building, fund raising, registration of the pupils ready for the school opening.
Other members of the Che Hwa School’s Relocation & Building Committee who were present included Datuk Hiew Thien Choi, Datuk Chau Tet On, Datuk Chong Choon Kim, Lim Kiat Kong, Datuk Agnes Shim and Chin Shu Ying.
